Dorset365 website terms
Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using Dorset365 or purchasing products and services through the platform.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Dorset365, a platform operated by AppServe Ltd (βAppServeβ, βweβ, βusβ or βourβ).
By accessing Dorset365, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
Legal entity: AppServe LtdTrading name/platform: Dorset365
Registered company number: 16814893
Registered office: 320 Firecrest Court, Warrington, United Kingdom, WA1 1RG
2. Our Role as a Platform
Dorset365 helps users discover and transact with independent businesses, venues, attractions, event organisers and other providers across Dorset.
Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, the participating business is responsible for supplying the product, ticket, event, experience, activity, attraction or service described in its listing. The resulting fulfilment contract may be between you and that provider.
We provide the platform, checkout and related support services. We do not control every aspect of a provider's service and are not responsible for promises made outside Dorset365.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to create an account or place an order.
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the platform.
Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect you, other users, participating businesses or Dorset365.
4. Listings, Prices and Availability
Participating businesses provide the descriptions, restrictions, availability and fulfilment information shown in their listings. We take reasonable steps to present this information clearly but cannot guarantee that every listing is free from errors.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. The total payable, including any applicable Platform Fee, will be displayed before you confirm an order.
Listings may be changed, suspended or withdrawn. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve availability.
5. Orders and Bookings
Your order is an offer to purchase the selected item. A binding transaction is formed when the order is accepted and a confirmation is issued, subject to payment authorisation and availability.
You must check the listing terms, selected option, date, quantity and customer details before paying. Keep your confirmation and booking reference secure.
Some products require advance booking, identity checks, age verification, arrival by a stated time or compliance with venue rules. These requirements form part of the applicable listing terms.
6. Payments and Platform Fees
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. You authorise us and our payment providers to charge the amount shown at checkout.
Any Platform Fee will be identified before purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees relating to a completed platform service may be non-refundable.
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the affected order and take reasonable steps to recover sums properly due.
7. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
Your cancellation and refund rights depend on the product, the relevant listing terms and applicable consumer law. Certain leisure services supplied on a specific date or during a specific period may have different cancellation rights.
Where a provider cancels or materially changes a booking, we will work with the provider and payment processor to communicate available remedies.
Refunds approved through Dorset365 are normally returned to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on your bank or payment provider.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not misuse Dorset365. In particular, you must not:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
- attempt to access another user's account or restricted systems;
- interfere with the security or operation of the platform;
- scrape, copy or exploit platform content without permission;
- use automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on Dorset365; or
- resell tickets or offers contrary to their listing terms or applicable law.
9. Business Accounts and Listings
Business users must have authority to act for the business they register and must keep business, listing, availability and fulfilment information accurate.
Businesses are responsible for providing purchased products and services, honouring valid bookings, complying with applicable laws and maintaining any licences, insurance or permissions required for their activities.
Additional commercial terms, fees or onboarding requirements may apply to business accounts and will be provided separately where relevant.
10. Intellectual Property
Dorset365's platform, branding, interface, software and original content are owned by or licensed to AppServe Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use Dorset365 for personal, lawful purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit protected material without permission.
Where you submit reviews, images or other content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and use that content for operating and promoting Dorset365.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Dorset365 may link to or integrate with services operated by third parties, including payment processors and participating businesses.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for content or services we do not operate, although this does not limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Responsibility and Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, business loss suffered by consumers, or events outside our reasonable control.
If you use Dorset365 for business purposes, additional limitations may apply under separate business terms.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these terms, misuse the platform, create a security or fraud risk, or where suspension is reasonably required by law.
You may stop using Dorset365 at any time. Ending an account does not remove obligations relating to existing orders, payments, disputes or records we are legally required to retain.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Dorset365, our services or applicable law. The latest version and its effective date will be published on this page.
Where a change materially affects existing users, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom where applicable.
Please contact us first if a dispute arises so that we can try to resolve it. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
